| 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
2. Cut butter into small chunks.
3. Add the butter to the flour mixture. Using a pastry knife cut the butter into pea size pieces.
4. Add ice water.
5. Mix water into flour mixture with a fork until it begins to become dough.
6. Knead by hand, quickly. Dough needs to remain cold.
7. Wrap the dough in plastic and refrigerate an hour before shaping crust.
