Chocolate Pecan Chess Pie

Tasty pecan pie with a hint of cocoa. Very simple pecan pie recipe makes two pies.
Ingredients -
 
2 cups Sugar
1 cup Pecans
2 tablespoons Cocoa
1 stick Butter, melted
4 Eggs, slightly beaten
6 tablespoons Milk
2 (9 inch) Unbaked Pie Shells
 
Preparation:
 
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine sugar, pecans, cocoa, butter, eggs and milk. Mix well.

3. Pour pecan pie mixture into unbaked pie shells.

4. Bake for 30 minutes.

Pecan Placement
Instead of including the pecans in the mixture, lay whole or half pecans on top. Work around the pie in circles, starting at the outside edge. The result is a much more impressive looking pie.

Unbaked Pie Shells
For best results bake pecan pies in glass pie dishes, so the crusts will brown. Avoid disposable or shiny metal pie pans for this recipe.
