1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla and mix until well blended.
3. Add pecans to mixture and coat pecans well.
4. Place pastry into pie plate, trim edges if necessary.
5. Pour pecan pie mixture into pie shell.
6. Bake 40 minutes or until edges are firm and center is soft, but set.
7. Cool on a wire rack.
8. Cover and refrigerate within 2 hours.
